G.O. Background and speech
By the grace of God I got born again in the year 1979 February 24th and I immediately joined the Deeper Christian Life ministry then, but now called and known as Deeper life Bible church was then pioneered by Bro. W.F.Kumuyi, but now Pastor W .F. Kumuyi then we use to call him Bro. and we use to meet at his house flat 2 Ransome kuti road, staff quarters, university of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos Nigeria to assist in folding of tracts.

Then we use to have Monday Bible study and Thursday evangelism study at Redeemed Christian Church of God at oloto street, Oyingbo, Ebute Metta Lagos now the headquarters of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, in fact to be honest with you he Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi is a good teacher from him 1 have my background both in life and Ministry. God will continue to bless him; glory be to God in the highest.

I cannot do without mentioning my Father in the Lord Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye the General Overseer Redeemed Christian Church of God, he really supported me spiritually and financially.

God will continue to bless him give him more anointing, wisdom and understanding with perfect protection to enable him carry the cross till the end in Jesus mighty name.

How can I forget Our Mother in Israel Mummy G.O a very caring mother and Pastor Akindele who is Daddy G.O Personal Assistant and the interpreter they all stood by me, they are just a wonderful people, at that time the Daddy G.O office is in oloto street Ebute meta, the redeem camp has not been born by then. They all knows me as Bro. Obasa. I give God the Glory, honor and adoration.

I am a full-time business man and by His grace I continue with my work and my Christian life before I was ordained as an evangelist and later ordained as Pastor before I proceed to oversees country in 1997. Later we have an opportunity to start our ministry in abroad which was registered and called Dominion Ark Ministries in year 2000 the church was growing, thriving and well established. Its 2003 September 4th that I got a terrible accident that almost took my life in fact if not that the Lord is on my side I should have died and gone by now, but I thank God for spearing my life.

When the accident happen, people around the scene of the accident call for an ambulance and Immediately an ambulance arrived I was picked up at the scene of the accident and I was taking to Saint James Colony Hospital in Blanchardstown Dublin 15, Republic of Ireland ; the only thing I remember is hearing myself saying “thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus repeatedly and till when the ambulance arrived at the Emergency unit of the hospital and saw the nurses running around, until the following day when I open my eyes and saw myself lying down on bed with different type of gadgets like oxygen and many others hospital equipment were attached on me.

I then look up and discovered that they are doing blood transfusion for me, I then ask myself saying what is this? And I heard a voice just beside me saying, what do you know about blood? I then said, blood! Then I heard the same voice again said to me, what do you know about blood?; I then answered said blood of man , blood of animal and so on, and the voice said to me again that, it’s more than that; I said really? the voice said to me again; ok come, I then see myself lifting up from the bed standing up then took about three steps away from the bed I then look back; to my amazement I saw my full body lying down on the bed with all the gadget on me, the voice said to me again “now let’s go”.

Then the next thing I saw was that we are already in heaven with me was a man with white apparel from top to the feet by my side talking to me; my brothers and sister either you are a Christian, Muslim, Atheist or Freethinker heaven is very – very real and beautiful, I pray that none of us will lose or missing getting to heaven in Jesus name. In fact I saw many things and a lot of discussion was made between me and the Angel that was with me, I ask many questions it was during the question and answer that I was told to quit the pulpit job that I should go and found Him an orphanage to take care of the Motherless babies and the abandoned children and the less privileged ones and praying for people and counsel them that these is your calling and what you have to be doing henceforth.

Then I said, I don’t want to go back anymore that I will like to stay here; then the Angel told me that you have not finish what He has sent me to do on the planet earth that I have to go back and do what He has told me to do, that is “the orphanage ministry, the ministry of helps to the less privileged people to minister to their needs both Spiritually and materially with counselling Ministry. To be specific the encounter went on for several hours but I cannot say how many hours the journey took before I came back to my physical body. But by the time I returned back I open my eyes and saw the Doctors and the nurses were surround my bed and I heard them saying; he’s back, he’s back as I want to talk to them, the Doctor that head the team padded me on my shoulder and said I should not border to say anything for now; then I was told that if not because my body was still warm they could have pronounced me dead and packed me up, that I have been like that for several hours.
It was after this encounter, after I have being discharged from the hospital that I now remember the writing of Paul the Apostle in the book of Galatians 1 v. 15 which says “But when it pleased God, who separate me from my mother’s womb, and called me by His grace”. Made me to understand that being born into this world is to fulfill a particular course; and the discovery of that course is what is called vision, calling or a ministry, as matter of fact, everybody has a peculiar plan, a peculiar function which has been assigned to him or her before we are born to this world. Hear what God told the Prophet Jeremiah, “Before I formed thee in the belly I know thee, and before thou came forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and ordained thee unto the nations, Jeremiah 1 v. 5. Most especially every believer has been ordained to carry out a particular function and this function is your ministry and it is the place where God want you to work for Him as a steward. Working for God as a stewardship is not limited to the pulpit as it were, but ministry is occupying your position as assigned to you by God, your own calling or ministry can be writing of Tracts to distribute to people and so on and so forth, the word of God says, “But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that ”1 Corinthians 7 v. 7b. {KJV}

No matter the type of your own calling, it might not popular, just stay with it as time goes by people will be looking for you and you will be celebrated; because ”For the gift and the calling of God are without repentance or are irrevocable”. Romans 11v.29; Let me tell you anywhere the Lion is its presence as a Lion will be there; anywhere the king is the aroma of kingship is always there. The most important is that “Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called’; 1 Corinthians 7 v. 20 because calling and elections are not limited to preaching on the pulpit but the pursuit of your calling is what is called a ministry and without vision you cannot have ministry; vision gives birth to a ministry. 

I get to understand that if we are all seller who is going to be the buyer; we cannot all be a pulpit worker because the calling of God does not limit to the pulpit alone, there divers ways whereby one can be use of God according to the scripture in 1 Corinthians 12 vs. 4 – 11 & v.28 that says” Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it the same God who works in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of Spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. Verse 28; And God has appointed these in the church: first Apostles, second prophets, third Teachers, after that miracle, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, variety of tongues”. With the understanding of these scripture, it makes me to know that God has a different purpose of calling men for His work.

At the same time “there are differences of administration, but the same Lord and their diversities of operation, but it is the same God which worked all in all, but the manifestation of the Spirit is given to everyman to profit withal” 1 Corinthians 12 vs. 5 – 7. Our heavenly Father is the only one that knows the area in which we can be useful for His purpose; it is now left for us to know the exact area whereby He wants us to be used.

At the encounter I had when I was taken to heaven on my bed in the hospital that I was told to quit the pulpit preaching job and go and get Him an orphanage home, and pray for people and counsel them by show them the only way to heaven not a church kind of set up, and since then the zeal to start what He has told me to do was upon me. I stop the pulpit preaching it was then I understand that God cannot call you to a task without given you the zeal to perform it no matter how difficult the task may be, no wonder the Bible says “For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me” Psalms 69 v.9. It was along the line I got to know that if God give a vision three things must be well understood after you might have clearly stated the vision, calling or the ministry. 

• What to do.
• Where to do it.
• How to do it.

These three subjects I always called them, where, when and how. Therefore, one must understand that a vision does not become a ministry until it is pursued, that is why I see this running of orphanage and counseling and. prayer and ministering to the less privileged as a Vision, a Calling and a Ministry, that is why I have to give it a pursuit and rise up to the challenges. The Lord gave the vision in year 2003 September, when I was in the hospital during the accident which I had then. The name was registered 3 years later in 2006 as FREEDOM CHRISTIAN FAITH MISSION for the purpose of the calling. By today we can all see the faithfulness of God about the vision He gave to us.

I cannot say it all for what I saw and what the Lord told me about the churches and some of the Men of God during the encounter between me and the Lord, I cannot put them down on this profile but if the lord permit me to Publish it, I will do it, for the whole world to know that Heaven is real and Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of the world and no any other other way, He is the way, the truth and the life, according to John 14 V.6 NIV.
